A circular walk from Faringdon, featuring an Iron Age camp at Badbury Hill, the 13th C. Cistercian Great Barn at Great Coxwell and Faringdon's Folly. Liable to be overgrown and muddy. Possible pub stop at Little Coxwell.

Sunday 19th September 10:30 AM ----- Step into the Cotswolds , 8 miles
Start place: Milton-under-Wychwood, the Quart Pot Pub. On street parking around in the village. SP263183
Gently undulating walk to Fifield and Little Rissington Airfield and back to Milton. One short steep section near the Merrymouth Inn.
Bring packed lunch. Pub stop after the walk at the Red Lion in Shipton.

Sunday 26th September 10:30 AM ----- Longworth Loop , 7.5 miles
Start place: Outside the Blue Boar PH, Longworth, OX13 5ET. Please don't park in the pub car park but park considerately in the village - car share where possible. SU388994
A moderate walk with just a couple of gentle hills. From the village of Longworth down to the Thames, before following a really pretty and peaceful stretch of river, then crossing over to the Chimney Meadows side. The route crosses back at Tenfoot bridge, to Duxford Ford, and then returns via the magnificient village of Hinto Waldrist. Probably muddy!

Start place: Car park next to Birdland in Bourton-on-the-Water. All day parking is very expensive (£6.30 when last checked) so car share where possible to spread the cost. Toilets in car park. SP169203
Starting from bustling Bourton-on-the-Water and taking in the quieter villages of Little Rissington, Wyck Rissington, Icomb, Bledington (possible pub stop) and Nether Westcote. Hopefully good Autumn colour. This will be a relatively fast paced tramp.

Walk to Beckley to meet the Oxon 20s 30s Group at or near the Abingdon Arms Pub at approximately 11.30am. Then back to Waterperry along the Oxfordshire Way. Route subject to change if flooded. Note that this is part of a series of baton walks across England, Wales and Scotland to celebrate the Ramblers 75th Anniversary.

A pleasant and fairly easy walk from Dorchester-on-Thames, up Wittenham Clumps (the one and only hill) and in a loop to Long Wittenham for picnic lunch, followed by a beautiful stretch of the Thames Path past Burcot and back to Day's Lock and Dorchester (and a pub).
