Meet under Marble Arch for a walk through Hyde Park and St. James Park down to Hungerford Bridge and we'll stop for lunch at the Cologne Christmas Market which is just under Hungerford Bridge and next to the Royal Festival Hall. After lunch we'll walk along the river and back up to Hyde Park to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Winter Wonderland Christmas Market which has many of the rides from the Oktoberfest. Glühwein will be available at both markets but you might want to bring a flask of your own. The walk will be on pavements so trainers are more appropriate than winter walking boots. This is the third time I've organised this. We do tend to lose people at the Christmas Market on the Southbank as they have lots of good food and Glühwein. I don't mind if people don't do the second part of the walk |
